At the core of “mystical experience” is loving union with God. In the history of the Church, there have been many “paths” and methods of prayer that the mystics have recommended to achieve that union. Every spiritual “tradition” is a treasure given by God in history to help us on the way to our goal.
In all the difference that we encounter among the paths of the great saints, we see a common experience of falling in love with God.
In our workshop, we will continue to explore that experience of “falling in love” as we see it in St Ignatius of Loyola, St Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross.
