One key thing about our celebration of the Epiphany is that it should bring us back to an encounter with the Child in the manger - and so back to the object of our faith. And having encountered him again, and worshipped him, as the wise men did, we should go on our way by a different path, with lives lived in and through a growing relationship with him.

On behalf of the parish of St Francis Xavier, I would like to sincerely thank the outgoing parish priest, Fr Lawrence Andrew, SJ for his hard work and dedication over the past two years as “chief executive officer” of our community. We are grateful to him for sharing with us his vision especially with regards to the BEC. His commitment to excellence has inspired many of us. Let us pray for him as he continues his work with the Herald as well as the Prayer Ministry Office.
