Section 11 BEC (St Francis of Assisi) members gathered at the home of Anto & Immilda on 26 July 2017 for the monthly BEC reflection on "The Word Enlightens".
Beginning with an enthusiastic rendition of the opening song "O The Word of My Lord", the group was led in prayer by one of our members before reading the Word followed by a lively discussion of how God's Word, read directly from the Bible or heard proclaimed to us touched us and impacted our lives and shaped our response to the Word.
Two of our members who came into the faith shared their journey towards their conversion and how the Word of God transformed their lives into lives of service to others.
It was indeed an enlightening evening of sharing and learning.
After the closing prayer and final hymn we sat around to share in some light snacks and drinks and laughter, and to catch up with what's happening with each other.
A truly beautiful evening with our BEC family.
