We (Sec. 12 St Jude BEC) have been holding the Way of the Cross in various homes in our BEC on Wednesdays during Lent since memory. This year we have been continuing the tradition, and started in the home of Mrs Myrtle Coombs. It was a very encouraging start; we had a few more members than the 14 stations. The devotions have continued regularly throughout this season.

This year we followed "The Way of the Cross" by St. Alphonsus Liguori. The booklets were generously bought and donated by one of our BEC members.

St. Alphonsus was a man in love with Jesus. For Alphonsus, the Stations of the Cross provided the opportunity to meditate on the true meaning of the love of the Most Holy Redeemer.
